In this article I will tell you about how to choose right onion. Onion is always a key ingredient in most of the Indian and Continental recipes.
Always Choose a onion with a thin outer skin. Many times outer skin of onion is not their and in that case a thick onion skin get in waste. So always take care of this while buying onion in vegetable market.
Both ends of the onion should be properly closed. If ends of onion are open it will result in waste while cutting and sometimes it is rotten. So whenever you choose onion for a yummy dish like shahi paneer, dal makhani or white sauce pasta surely go for a better onion ;) !
Never go for a double faced onion. It will again result in more wastage and never be a good option for salads. Choose a good shaped onion which can also be presented in a salad. Moreover those double faced onions never look less than a rotten one.
