The most common and favorite food RAJASTHANI  Peoples, is Dal Bati. This is pretty much the same in terms of calories because it is used a lot of Ghee (Butter). In Rajasthan, if you eatDal Bati in the roadside it is very spicy but if you build your house, you can make it less chili-masala. Let us without delay and to make this delicious dal bati.

For Bati -
  1. 2 cups wheat flour
  2. 1 tablespoons rava
  3. 2 tbsp butter
  4. salt to taste

For Dal -
  1. 1/2 cup green moong dal
  2. 1 tablespoon chana dal
  3. 1 tablespoon butter
  4. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  5. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  6. 1 teaspoon powdered Gnia
  7. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  8. Lemon, cut in half
  9. Chopped green Gnia
  10. Ginger, finely chopped
  11. 1/2 teaspoon cumin and mustard seeds
  12. 2 cups water
How to make Dal Bati:
  • Make a dough of flour, rava, salt and ghee.
  • Prepare small balls out of this dough.
  • Roast these small balls till it turns brown.
  • Add ghee on it
  • Baati is ready.
  • Heat the oil and add cumin seeds.
  • Add green chillies, garlic, red chilli powder, garam masala and tomatoes
  • Stir it well.
  • Add boiled toovar dal and pour 4 cups of water.
  • Allow it to boil for 10 minutes.
  • Dal is ready.
  • Serve Daal bati with ghee
